She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Sands; her children-in-law, Michael Salyers and Susan Sands; her parents, John R. Crawley and Hazel Smith Crawley; and her siblings, John Crawley Jr., Bill Crawley, Alfred Crawley, Jake Crawley, Vernon Crawley, Marie Chadwick and Jane Darnell.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Sands Salyers and Chris Sands; her grandchildren, Travis Salyers, Christopher Salyers (Tasha) and Amanda Garner (Dustin); her great grandchildren, Brody, Hailey, Connor and Brennon; and her siblings, David Crawley (Sylvia) and Pat Grooms (Jim). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Highland Park Baptist Church (4333 US-11, Lenoir City, TN 37772). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Edgewood Cemetery (229 S. Gallaher View Rd SW, Knoxville, TN 37919).
