He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Darnell and Minnie Frances King Edwards; his siblings, Sally Beatrice Roberts (Louis), Arthur D. Edwards Jr. (Betty) and Earl Bruce Edwards (Stella); and his nephew Jason Edwards.
He is survived by: his children, Karen E. Cunningham and Russell D. Edwards II (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Blake Cunningham (Jenny), Lauren Rivera, William Edwards (Storey) and Elise Rechel (Max); his great grandchildren, Declan, Logan Cunningham, Kennedy Rivera, Brooklyn, Camden, Haven Edwards, Owen and Katie Rechel; and also Phyllis Vineyard Edwards. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, very special friends.
Memorials may be made to the Benevolence Fund at Beaver Dam Baptist Church in memory of Dan.
