It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Mitchell Kennedy of Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on October 30, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Kathleen Wright (Kennedy); his stepfather Clyde Wright; and his brother Larry Kennedy. He is survived by: his wife Claudia Hobby Kennedy; his son Lance Kennedy (Krystal); his grandchildren, Lane Kennedy and Kali Kennedy; his brother Allen Kennedy (Linda); and his brothers-in-law, Harold Hobby and Donnie Hobby (Diana). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and special family and friends.

A reception was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Berry Funeral Home (3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920). A committal service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920).
