It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lee Swann (Knoxville, Tennessee), who passed away on September 25, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Pearly Swann and Hilda Swann; his grandparents, Samuel Stinnett and Sally Stinnett; his brother Billy Swann; and his cousin Rodger Steven Stinnett.
He is survived by: his wife Bertie Lucinda Swann; his sons, Rodger Swann (Dorothy) and Brian Swann; his siblings, Floyd Swann, James Swann, Jason Swann, Wanda Long, Barbara Edmonds and Jaetta Hutchens; and his aunt Wanda Stinnett. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Berry Highland South (9010 Simpson Rd, Knoxville, TN 37920). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
