Rita Ann Holtzapfel Patterson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Ann Holtzapfel Patterson (Knoxville, Tennessee), who passed away on February 24, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her friend Tony; her children, David Patterson (Martha), Greg Patterson (Nola), Theresa Walsh (Kevin), Monica Bailey and Michael Patterson (Sara); her granddaughters, Rose, Sara Ruther and Caitlin Patterson; her great grandchildren, Sylv, Holly Webb and Fox Wilson; her siblings, Tiny Newman, Karen Neal and Bob Holtzapfel (Gail); and also MaryFaith Patterson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bridges Funeral Home (5430 Rutledge Pike, Knoxville, TN 37924). A rosary will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church (1041 N Central St, Knoxville, TN 37917). A burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenwood Cemetery (3500 Tazewell Pike, Knoxville, TN 37918).
