He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Ramsey and Ludell Ramsey (Long); his children, Lonnie Lineberger and Crystal Ramsey; and his siblings, Don Ramsey, Gail Craig, Dobbie Brackett and Sue Hatmaker.
He is survived by: his wife Cecil Ramsey (Shelton); his children, Richard "Rick" Ramsey, Russell Ramsey (Danielle Lee) and Amber Ramsey; his grandchildren, Natalie Ramsey, Michael Ramsey, Lacy Honeycutt, Kaylee Graham, Hudson Ramsey-Roach and Haley Turner; his great grandchild Mason Carol; and his siblings, Bob Ramsey, Mike Ramsey, Charley Ramsey, Kay Tolliver and Marsha Martin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Click Funeral Home Middlebrook Chapel (9020 Middlebrook Pike, Knoxville, TN 37923). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Gray Cemetery (2724 Western Ave, Knoxville, TN 37921).
