He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Lily Lenear; his son Johnny Lenear; his parents, Floyd Lenear and Edna Lenear; and his siblings, Frances Carson, Mary Lenear, Buddy, Bugs and Denzel Lenear.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Ritter (Bob) and Danny Wolfenbarger; his grandchildren, Rebekah West (Amber), Josiah Ritter (Katie) and Jacob Ritter; his great grandchildren, Canaan, Connor, Camelia Ritter, Laylah Bonney, Shelby Ritter, Allure Powell and Cayci Winningham; his great great grandchild Sage; and his siblings-in-law, Henry Carson, Nora Lumpkin and Billie Jo Lenear.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bridges Funeral Home (5430 Rutledge Pike, Knoxville, TN 37924). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Asbury Cemetery Asbury Cemetery (5100 Asbury Cemetery Rd, Knoxville, TN 37914).
