It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Gossett of Knoxville, Tennessee, born in Strawberry Plains, Tennessee, who passed away on March 24, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. R. Gossett and Naomi King; her brother Jason Gossett; her sister-in-law Margo Gossett; and the father of her children Gordon White.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wyndi White (Jerry Gorsuch) and Kelly Ledford Hollis (Chappy); her grandchildren, Israel Farless (Jessica), Amy Beth Gardner (Paul), Marisa Monroe (Tim), Brad Bullard, Caleb Hollis, Natalie Hollis Crotts (Buck), Hope, Charlie, Lydia Hollis, Brittany Vales and Dakota Gorsuch; her great great grandchildren, Trinity, Aviean, Ella, Breonna, Bridgett, Rylan, Milo, Justice and Theo; her niece Karman Gossett; her nephew Rance Gossett (Caroline McDonald); and her great-nephew Ravin Gossett.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rose Funeral. A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rose Mann Heritage Chapel (6200 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919). A burial was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at the Edgewood Cemetery (219 S Gallaher View Rd, Knoxville, TN 37919).
