It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patti Jane Lay of Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Patti Jane Lay to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Edwin Lay and Agnes Hufstedler Lay; and her nephew Robert Chandler Lay of Knoxville. She is survived by: her husband John Thomas Baugh; her children, John Edwin Baugh, Sarah Lauren Baugh Coughlin (Dennis) and Thomas Chandler Baugh; her granddaughter Ruthanne Louise Coughlin; her brother Frank Edwin Lay, Jr.; her niece Martha Jane Lay of Knoxville; her red English; and her pet Dusti Rose Baugh. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rose Funeral and Cremation-Mann (6200 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919). A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
