She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Hurt and Naomia Hurt; and her siblings, Mary Holloway, Ella Mae Milburn, Sandra Kay Hurt and Donald Luther Hurt (Juanita Weaver).
She is survived by: her husband Paul Garrett; her daughter Mufty Sexton; her granddaughters, Jessica Hurt and Brittney Moore; her great grandchild Emily Monroe; and her siblings, Benny Hurt, Wendy Taylor and Sueann Hurt.
