She was predeceased by: her husband Tom Garrett; her parents, Pauline McKinney and Ellis Moorehouse; and her sisters, Paula Patterson and Catherine "Cathy" Scott.
She is survived by: her sister Patricia "Gail" Jones; her daughters, Amy Thorton and Carrie Brewster; her grandchildren, Makala Brewster, William Brewster, Jacob Thorton and Meghan Lett; her nieces, Kimberly "Kim" Haynes, Kelly Thompson (Bobby), Kathleen Huggins (Rick) and Rebecca "Becky" Lowe (Steve); her nephew Anthony "Tony" Medlock; and her pet Callie. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews; a few great nieces and nephews; several cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel (5301 Fountain Rd, Knoxville, TN 37918).
