Mary Lou Whitson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2024, Mary Lou Whitson of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Oglesby and Gertrude Oglesby; her husband Arl Whitson; and her son Timmy Whitson. She is survived by: her sons, Ron and Floyd Whitson; and her grandchildren, Jason Whitson (Ariel), Amber Odneal, Heather Fox Whitson (Zack) and Angie Rauhuff. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 7:30 AM at the United Missionary Baptist Church (7301 Charlotte Dr, Knoxville, TN 37924). Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
