She was predeceased by: her husband James R. Carroll; her son Dr. James R. Carroll, Jr.; her parents, Roy Sr. Burchell and Audrey Burchell; and her siblings, Eloise Miller, Alma Jean Varnes, Roy Jr., Bobby and Rudy.

She is survived by: her son Richard; her daughters-in-law, Audrey and Mary; her grandchildren, Jamie and Sherry Lamers (Sam); her great grandchildren, Gavin, Garrett, Abigail and Emma; and her friends, Christine Brunton, Saffron Buzzi, Pam Varnes and Anita Fouts. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
