She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman E. Turner and Cassie Turner; her brother Eugene Turner Jr.; and her granddaughter Jill Berry. She is survived by: her children, Sharon B. Kirkland (Garrett), Tobe Cowden (Chela) and Mike Berkley. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Washington Pike Baptist Church, 1700 Washington Pike, Knoxville, TN 37917.
