She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Elswick Sr.; her parents, John Politakis and Wanda Politakis; and her sister Linda Schlager. She is survived by: her children, Jean Watson, Charles Elswick Jr. and John Elswick (Ruby Elswick); her grandchildren, Jennifer Naylor, Josh Elswick (Lynsey Elswick), Cody Elswick (Megan Elswick), Billy James and Brandy Readling; her great grandchildren, Hunter Naylor, Emma Naylor, Abigail Naylor, Camden Elswick, Nora Elswick, Dax Elswick and Blake Elswick; and her brothers, John Politakis, Dave Politakis, Steve Politakis and George Politakis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home, Inc. (109 S Walnut St, Lenoir City, TN 37771). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
