He is survived by: his sisters, Sharon Hutchison of Jonesborough and Theodosia Smith of Jonesborough; his grandchildren, Aubrey Weems, Cody Weems, Dominic Weems, Maili Weems, Britton Weems, Ben Weems, Andrew Weems, Haley Buckner, Emily Buckner and Meg Buckner; and his great grandchildren, Kaiden Murphy, Ellie Weems and Nash Rodgers.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cherokee Country Club (5138 Lyons View Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919).
