She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lindwood James and Beatrice White James; and her husband William Roberts. She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Bateman and Alan Bateman (Jessica); her grandchildren, Dylan Burris (Elizabeth), Sydnee Metts (Seth) and Ema Getty (John); her great grandchildren, Stella, Elijah, Ani and John; her sister Marcia Bryant (Mike); her nephews, James Bryant (April) and David Bryant (Sondra); her great-nephew Matt Bryant; and her great-niece Abigail Bryant. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Berry Highland West (9913 Sherrill Blvd, Knoxville, TN 37932). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
