Leland Stanford Straw Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leland Stanford Straw Jr. of Knoxville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 21, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Straw and Alice Straw; and his brother Kenneth Straw. He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Grimes (Dan) and Cynthia Mitchell (Brian); his grandchildren, Brandon Tait, Sheena Tait, Christina Tait, Amanda Mitchell and Dallas Mitchell; his great grandchild Aiden Butler; and his sisters-in-law, Sharon Straw, Shirley Benton and Pat Harper.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rose Mann Heritage Chapel (6200 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919). A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Highland Memorial Cemetery (5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919).
