He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Herman Burris Sr.; his brothers, Charles, Kenneth and Herman Jr.; his mother Rosalee Burris; his daughter Kellye Lett; his granddaughters, Aliyah and Jazmine; and his siblings, Emma Burris, Saleem Sharif (Shahidah) and Michael Burris (Vicki). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
