He was predeceased by: his wife Earnestean; his parents, Hayden Hardwick and Hazel Hardwick; his sons, Kenny Hardwick and Kevin Hardwick; and his brothers, James Hardwick, John Hardwick, Carl Hardwick and Franklin Hardwick.
He is survived by: his children, Kristi Burchfield and Neal Hardwick (Courtney); his sister Ruby Collins (Charles); his grandchildren, Samantha Hardwick, Gavin Burchfield, Blake Burchfield, Ruby Hardwick and Jack Hardwick; and his great grandchildren, Raelynn Webb, Kaydence Hardwick and Harper Roberts.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bridges Funeral Home (5430 Rutledge Pike, Knoxville, TN 37924). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:45 AM and at 11:00 AM.
