She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlee Taylor and Hazel Taylor (Cook); her husband Donald Whetsell; and her brother A. C. Taylor. She is survived by: her sons, Eddie Howard and Doyle Welch (Christina); her grandchildren, Ashlea, Stefanie and Paige; her great grandchildren, Vincent, Jace and Violet; and her sisters, Wanda Dragon and Joyace Davis.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Home (228 Main St, Maynardville, TN 37807). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 12:45 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (3500 Tazewell Pike, Knoxville, TN 37918). A burial was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
