It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Greer King of Knoxville, Tennessee, born in Loudon, Tennessee, who passed away on November 24, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Carmichael and Bess Williams Greer; her husband James Howard King; her siblings, John Greer and Betty Greer Carey; and her granddaughter Janie B. Sharp.
She is survived by: her children, Jane King Sharp (Bailey), Mary Bess King and James "Jim" King (Bunny); and her grandchildren, Mary Bailey Oakes (Stuart), Kathleen Sharp, Margaret Rothermel (Will), Cal Davis (Hannah), Nick Davis, Greer Stevenson, Bart Stevenson, Will Peay (Sally) and Matt Peay (Tiffany). She is also survived by her seven great-grandsons.
