She was predeceased by : her parents, Emory Self and Lavada Self. She is survived by : her husband Charlie; her son Michael (Leslie); her granddaughter Cadie Wilson; her sister Sharen Watson; and her nephews, Adam, Taylor and Joseph Watson.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Halls Chapel (4131 E Emory Rd, Knoxville, TN 37938). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 10th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, July 11th 2024 from 10:45 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM.
