It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Edward Diedrich of Knoxville, Tennessee, born in Alpena, Michigan, who passed away on April 21, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard W. Diedrich and Lois J. Diedrich; his siblings, Charles, Thomas, Ann and Paul; and his grandson Silas.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Timothy Diedrich, Thomas Diedrich (Jessica), Sarah Stewart (Nathan) and Lisa Greeley (Gavin); his grandchildren, Luke, Abby, Malachi, Isaac, Nora Jane, Tyler, Daniel, Ben, Sam, Finn and Annie; and his siblings, Michael Diedrich (Kathy), Rosanne Keller (Marc), Donna Kershner (Ron), Linda Kreis (Michael), Mary Ferguson (Craig), John Diedrich (Gail), Kenneth Diedrich (Debbie), Christine Hoffman (Eugene) and Janet Edick (Joe). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Powell Chapel (2000 Powell Drive 37849). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
