It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Earl Joiner Jr. (Knoxville, Tennessee), who passed away on April 7, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. John Earl Joiner and Thelma; and his siblings, Sue Mitchell and J. T. Joiner. He is survived by: his wife Marsha; his daughters, Tammy Williams (Knox) and Kristie Hillenmeyer (Geoff); his grandchildren, Amanda, Willie Neel, Liz Peterson, Dylan Moore, Rob Williams, Reiling, John Wesley and Emmerson Hillenmeyer; his great grandchildren, Lillie, Kaylee and James Neel; and his siblings, Ann Milsaps and Charles Joiner. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cedar Bluff Baptist Church (9215 Floyd Ln, Knoxville, TN 37923). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 1:30 PM.
