John Dale Woodcock Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Dale Woodcock of Knoxville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint John Dale leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Woodcock, Sr. and Ruby Myrtle Woodcock; and his sister Beverly Wilson. He is survived by: his daughter Katy Woodcock Dingess (Patrick); his grandchildren, Margot and Connor; and his siblings, Pam Edgemon, Sonny Woodcock (Shirley) and Timmy Woodcock. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the First Baptist Church (305 Ingleside Ave, Athens, TN 37303). A reception will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
