She was predeceased by: her husband Elbert K. "Sonny" Coggins, III; and her parents, Jotty Foster Winesette and Ethel Burnett Winesette. She is survived by: her sons, Mike Coggins (Linda) and Lt Cl (Ret) Gary W. Coggins (Dr. Patti Cruse Coggins); her sister Loretta Davis; her granddaughters, Heather McNutt (David) and Jennifer Coggins; her great grandchild Alyssa Claire McNutt; and her cousins, Teena Bustin Foale, Janet Trail and Sarah Kay.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Reeses Funeral Home (2214 Austinville Rd, Austinville, VA 24312). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Burnett Family Cemetery.
