He is survived by: his wife Dea Sammons; his sons, Richie Sammons (Jessica), Spencer Sammons (Emilee) and Jerry Sammons Jr.; his grandchildren, Braydin, Skyler, Shaelynn, Serena, Korbyn, Ryder, Raelynn, Dayton, Riley, Raegan, Libby, Dallas and Brendan; his siblings, Tammy (Eddie Reneau) and Martin Sammons (Jennifer); and his sister-in-law Teresa Sammons. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
A reception will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel (2829 Rennoc Rd, Knoxville, TN 37918).
