It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jennifer Lynn McHaffie of Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 42, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Herbert, Ann Clabough, Earl and Margaret McHaffie. She is survived by: her parents, Jim McHaffie and Sandra McHaffie; her sons, Seth and Logan Wright; her adoptive son CJ Gornik; her brother Eric McHaffie; her nieces and nephews, Blake, Hunter, Autumn and Haley; her great-nephew Bentley; and her great-nieces, Maelyn and Sayora. She is also survived by uncles, aunts and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Halls Chapel (4131 E Emory Rd, Knoxville, TN 37938). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hansards Chapel Cemetery (11270 Yarnell Rd, Knoxville, TN 37932).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
