She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Wilson and Faye Wilson of Madisonville; and her husband Coy D. Summitt of Knoxville. She is survived by: her siblings, Barbara Wilson, Charles Wilson, Don Wilson (Hilda) and Karan Wilson of Madisonville; her son Kevin D. Summitt (Melissa) of Knoxville; her granddaughters, Melissa C. Summitt and Jessica L. Summitt of Nashville; and her stepgrandchildren, Chloe Aiken and Samuel Aiken of Knoxville. She is also survived by in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A reception was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Berry's Funeral Home (3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery (2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920).
