He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Doolittle and Mable Doolittle; his son Jay Doolittle Jr.; his former wives, Virginia Lowhorn and Susan Lynn; and his siblings, Jean Granzow, Betty Ottengheime, Barbara Clifford, Joyce Gray Ritchie and John Robert Doolittle.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Doolittle; his stepdaughters, Whitney Bryan (Salvador Bartera) and Jill Pitkanen (Jeremiah); his stepgrandchildren, Korbin and Maddox; his children, Jan DeSanti (Mark), Lani Biller (Frank) and Douglas Doolittle (Susan); his grandchildren, Heather, Daniel, Leigh and Melani; his stepgrandson Evan (Sydney); his great grandchildren, Khloe, Gavin, Finley and Danielle; and his stepgreat-grandson Xavier.
