We are sad to announce that on April 5, 2025, at the age of 91, Janet Louise Schmidt of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Roberts and Ethel Roberts; and her siblings, Joyce Joens and Wilford Roberts. She is survived by: her children, Rick Schmidt (Rita) of Oldsmar, FL and Lori Hampson (Andy) of Knoxville; her grandchildren, Ryan Schmidt (Kat) of Santa Monica, CA, Roger Schmidt (Shala) of Escondido, CA, Taylor Dooley (Heather) of Homewood, AL and Andrea Covington (Wade) of Lexington, KY; and her great grandchildren, Landon, Lana Schmidt, Meredith, Daniel Dooley and Mason Covington.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 2:30 PM and at 6:30 PM. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Shannondale Chapel (801 Vanosdale Rd, Knoxville, TN 37909).
