It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James W Wyrick Sr. of Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on June 30, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his significant other Rachel; his parents, Ruby Wyrick and Charley Wyrick; his children, Debora Thomas and James W. Wyrick, Jr.; and his siblings, Henry Wyrick, Lorene Temple and Betty Wyrick.

He is survived by : his granddaughters, Wendi Thomas, Christy Michel, Lindsey Richardson (Landon) and Sheena Smith (John); his nieces, Patti Gish, Cheryl Harrison, Tonya Harris and Tracey Hurley; his great-nephew David Hilston of Velden, Germany; his great-niece Dana Alberson; his great grandchildren, Cash Michel, Tripp Richardson, Charlee Richardson, Riley Smith and Lily Smith; and his daughter-in-law Cherie Wyrick.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Berry Highland Memorial (5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919).
