He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse R. Mikels and Virginia Walters Mikels; and his siblings, Betty Wilson and Jerry Mikels. He is survived by: his wife Daily Telephone Devotions; his caregiver Norma Weatherly; his son Rick; his daughter-in-law Meghan Mikels; and his granddaughters, Olivia of Knoxville and Lillian of Knoxville.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fountain City Chapel (2829 Rennoc Rd, Knoxville, TN 37918). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
