He is survived by: his sons, Donald Monroe (Margie), Ronnie Monroe, David Monroe (Billie) and Gordon Monroe (Dolores); and his brothers, Steve Monroe, Marcus Monroe and Paul Monroe. He is also survived by several grand children, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
