He is survived by: his children, Donna Phillips, Darrell Phillips (Annie) and Danny Phillips (Melissa); his grandchildren, Chad Moore (Whitney), Christopher Phillips, Shelbie Dempsey (Stephen), Elizabeth Jade Trammell and Jake Mason; his great grandchildren, Hudson Moore, Trinity Dempsey and Kennedy Dempsey; and his brother W. E. Phillips (Buddy).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel (2829 Rennoc Rd, Knoxville, TN 37918). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
