He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie Davidson and Joe Majors. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Majors; his daughter Jamie Farrer (Chad); his stepsons, Adam Blevins (Tonya) and Mark Blevins (Melanie); his grandchildren, Dylun, Devun, David Delanna Cooksey, Brandon, Kaleb, Noah, Cameron Blevins, Haylie and Mason Blevins; his nephew James Ezell; his close friend Kevin Hankins; and his siblings-in-law, June Young, Kathy Baliles (Harvey), Michael Carroll (Elizabeth) and Randy Sexton (Shirley). He is also survived by 5 Great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Halls Chapel (4131 E Emory Rd, Knoxville, TN 37938). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery.
