He was predeceased by: his parents, Ila Lucille Denton and Theodore Howard; and his sisters, Mary Lee Cockrum, Martha Sue England, Barbara Jean Thornburgh and Doris Ann McCarter.
He is survived by: his siblings, Charles Edward Howard, Rose Marie Clevenger and Nina Lou Vogel. He is also survived by several cousins, and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the East Tenennee Veterans Cemetery (2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920).
