He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Phillips and Evelyn Phillips; his siblings, Johnny, Jimmy, Michael Phillips and Shirley; his grandson Breyar Scott Phillips; and his son-in-law Ronnie Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Phillips; and his children, Connie Phillips, Sherry Phillips Knapper and Scott Phillips (Kristi). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Rose Mortuary (1421 N Broadway, Knoxville, TN 37917). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (3500 Tazewell Pike, Knoxville, TN 37918).
