He is survived by: his wife Deborah Dunlap Hyatt; his children, Jacqueline Blair Hyatt Skaggs (Tom), Hugh Crockett Hyatt, Jr. (Meredith), Mary Lyle Hyatt Hall (Greg), Dr. Emily Elizabeth Dunlap and Charles Alexander Dunlap (Marie); his grandchildren, Mary Emma Atkins, William Hyatt Atkins (Alejandra), Hugh Crocket Hyatt III, Wellesley Jeanne Hyatt, Dorothea Jeanne Hall, Dorothy Mae Dunlap, Theodore Alexander Dunlap, Willamina Rose Dunlap and Naomi Rae Dunlap; his sisters, Norma Hyatt Warren and Lila Hyatt Sutton (Frank); his extended family, Jacqueline Brotchner, Gibbs and Sue Roddy; and his friends, Terry and Caroline O'Neill.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the St. John's Episcopal Cathedral (413 Cumberland Ave, Knoxville, TN 37902). A reception will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Cherokee Country Club (5138 Lyons View Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919).
