With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard Leon Cooper of Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on February 20, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Howard Leon Cooper to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Avril Cooper and Mildred Cooper (Betty Rose Cooper); his son Jeffrey Barron Cooper; his great grandchild Wesley Cooper; and his sister Eddie Neeley.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Cooper (Vickie) and Vickie Moore (Bufford); his grandchildren, Steven Cooper, Amy Watkins (Arnold), Kimberly Smith (Michael), Jeremy Cooper (Stephanie), Kevin Cooper (Traci), Amanda Cooper and Samantha Tarver (Stephen); and his siblings, Buddy Cooper, John Cooper (Helen), Frank Cooper (Joan) and Ester Garret. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel (4131 E Emory Rd, Knoxville, TN 37938). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Lynnhurst Cemetery (2300 Adair Dr, Knoxville, TN 37918).
