He was predeceased by: his son Jimmy Cooper; his brother Glenn Bridges; and his parents, J. L. Bridges and Trula Bridges. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Bridges; his son Jeff; his daughter-in-law Sonya Cooper; his sister-in-law Tami Vaden (Randy); and his sister Dorothy Fisher (Johnnie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Stevens Mortuary Inc. (1304 Oglewood Ave, Knoxville, TN 37917).
