She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Joseph Thomas Redding Jr.; her parents, Elmer Edward Carroll and Leola Mae Brummette Carroll; and her grandmother Barbara Carroll. She is survived by: her children, Kevin Redding (Becky) of Rogersville and Missy Taylor (Jayme) of Fort Collins, CO; her grandchildren, Emily Roberts (Brandon), Ben Redding (Briana), Sarah, Noah Redding, Avery and Bailey Taylor; her great grandchildren, Brooklyn Roberts and Matney Redding; and her close friends, Dr. Jonathan, Mary Sowell, Dan Barnett, Dr. Charlie and Sheila Barnett.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Street United Methodist Church (900 Henley St, Knoxville, TN 37902). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (5901 Lyons View Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919).
