She was predeceased by: her husband Calvin J. Rymer; her parents, James Gordon Casteel and Perry Mae Allmon Casteel; and her siblings, Jesse Casteel (Ida Mae), James Casteel, Melvin Casteel, Grace Casteel McDonald (Ernest) and Frankie Eulene Casteel McCollister (Doyle).
She is survived by: her daughter Sybil Brown; her son-in-law Michael Brown; her grandchildren, Andrew of Knoxville and Makayla Brown of Knoxville; her sister Edith Casteel Presley Huff; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Casteel of Loudon and Barbara Casteel McCrary of Loudon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
