It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eva Jane Rudder (Knoxville, Tennessee), who passed away on November 13, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Eva Jane farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Eva Jane is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Dean; her children, Lisa, Mike and Angie; her grandchildren, Samuel, Robert, Maddie and Maleigh; and her parents, John L. Powell and Sarah Lou Lemons Powell. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bridges Funeral Home (5430 Rutledge Pike, Knoxville, TN 37924). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Caledonia Cemetery (7817 N Ruggles Ferry Pike, Knoxville, TN 37924).
