It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Petree of Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on December 20, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Petree and Annie Petree; his former wife Billie Irvin; and his siblings, Albert Petree, Kathleen Gibson, Virge Petree, Hyden of Arizona and Yvonne Fields.
He is survived by: his children, Joyce Stephens (J. David) of Cleveland, Tennessee, Brenda Jackson (Ron) of Monroe and Roger Petree of Dundee, Michigan; his grandchildren, Brent Stephens (Sarah), Jeanna Chiara (JJ), Jennifer Brown (Chris) and Kelli Giarmo (Frank); his great grandchildren, James, Abbey, Bryar, Hannah Stephens, Ava, Mary, Harrison Chiara, Kennedy, Kendall Brown, Austin, Griffin and Jackson Giarmo; his siblings, Arlie, Leon, Mary and Carl; and his stepsons, Paul, Wes and Ronnie Prewitt.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Dante Church of God (414 Dante School Rd, Knoxville, TN 37918). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Roselawn Memorial Park (13200 S Dixie Hwy, La Salle, MI 48145).
