She is survived by: her close friend Lou Parascandola of Knoxville, TN; her children, Jake Robert Shannon (Sarah McKenzie Lewis) of Greenville, SC, Samuel Edward Shannon of Greenville, SC and Kristina Danielle Shannon (John Wilmot Walker) of Knoxville, TN; her siblings, Gary Ray Spears of Helena, GA and Melanie Anne Dickerson (Kenny) of Hartwell; her grandchildren, Katelyn, Matthew, Kendall Rae and Kyler; and her parent Mary Spears of Hartwell.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Strickland Funeral Home-Hartwell (305 Cleveland Ave, Hartwell, GA 30643). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hartwell Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home (305 Cleveland Ave, Hartwell, GA 30643). A burial will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at the Nancy Hart Memorial Park (1171 Royston Hwy, Hartwell, GA 30643).
