It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doyle Wayne Whitaker of Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on June 24, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Karen Fisher Whitaker; his parents, Calvin Coolidge Whitaker and Cassie Harville Whitaker; and his sister Janice Whitaker Derreberry. He is survived by: his nephews, Tandy Derreberry (Mandy), Tim Donahue, McKamey Derreberry (Kari) and Chris Donahue; his niece Laura Donahue Navin; his stepson Roland Fisher of West Virginia; his stepgrandchildren, Blaine Lantz (Chase), Casey Hale, Ryan Fisher and Sierra Fisher; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Cooper, Boston, Leighton and Hudson.

His favorite charity was Wears Valley Ranch. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to them.
