She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Hatcher and Hettie Hatcher; her husband Elward Grady Phillips, Jr.; and her siblings, Larry, Jackie Hatcher, Irene Loveday and Etta Hatcher.

She is survived by: her daughter Becky; her son-in-law Samuel Jones; her brothers, Terry, Gary (Patsy) and Bill Hatcher (Lynne); her niece Reta Hunley; and her close friend Charlotte Dishman. She is also survived by nephews, cousins.
