With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Derek Tyler Green in Knoxville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 4, 2025 at the age of 24. He was predeceased by: his grandfather James "Jim" McCarter. He is survived by: his parents, Shonda Watson (Shane) and Darren Green (Monica); his siblings, Kaitlyn Watson and Matthew Green; his grandparents, Dallas, Sandra Green and Glenda Pratt; and his aunts and uncles, Briana Clark (Ron), Anneliesje Carter (Paul), Pam McCleary (Billy), Beth Idles (Ray), Kellye Rogers (Josh), Jay McCarter (Missy) and Scott Smith (Melissa).

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fellowship Church (8000 Middlebrook Pike, Knoxville, TN 37909). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
